Philips lighting is constantly developing integrated
solutions that better meet the lighting needs
of its individual customers. This helps us meet
the changing market requirements as well as giving
lighting professionals greater freedom of choice
and new ways of expression. Not surprisingly,
many Philips developments have influenced the
way we use lighting today and evolving the concepts
of future, ahead of its time.
The
new world standard features a miniaturised tube
(16 mm diameter instead of 26 mm) and an entirely
new concept in optic engineering. 'TL'5 creates
new areas of design freedom while reducing costs
by up to 25% and making possible incredibly compact
luminaires. OLC optics, miniaturised electronic
ballast extend possibilities of energy efficient
optical performance, improved uniformity, outstanding
glare control and unobtrusive aesthetics.
Breakthrough
performance from a remarkably compact ceramic
metal halide source. The master Colour series
combines natural, sparkling light & excellent
colour rendering with high efficacy, enhanced
luminous flux and minimal colour shifts. The resultant
dramatic visual effects and brilliant accent lighting
serves as a distinct commutication tool.
X-
tend, the new generation of flourecent luminaires
designed to provide optimum lighting for any work
environment, which surpasses all the aesthetic
and glare control standards of the times. A perfect
combination of cutting edge technology, functional
brilliance and aesthetic appeal. The secret behind
X-tend's superb lighting quality lies in newly
developed optic concept, based on specially designed
3D lamella that offers highly efficient light
distribution and flexible visual comfrot. Along
with excellent Omnidirectional Luminaires Control
(OLC) and glare reduction, X-tend is poised to
create a revolution in office lighting
Extremely
compact, high frequency electronic ballast for
both TL miniature and compact fluroscent lamps.
The Compact Power IC gives the ballast slender
dimensions and much lower weight compared to electromagnetic
ballasts. Also considerable amounts of energy
(25% at equal luminous flux) is saved. Apart from
the other benefits of electronic ballast, enhanced
freedom of luminaire design is rendered.
From
intelligent luminaires to the automation of lighting
systems in entire buildings, Philips Lighting
controls save energy, enhance flexibility in office
layouts and maximize user comfort. The many new
developments in electronic control systems, enable
lighting to be preciously matched to specific
environments, applications and changing ambient
light levels. These offer easy, interactive operation
and convenient control and hence greater freedom
for lighting designers.
Innovative
Energency lamp with unique features like swiveling
diffusor, intelligent protective circuit, auto
recharging , buzzer indicator and docking / charging
bay - it is by far the best solution when there
is a power failure. Its ergonomically designed
for a host of application within homes, outdoors
and also as a cordless Table lamp. A surround
light feature is built in to provide light uniformlyin
all directions. the compact flourescent lamp features
a longer life than other miniature TL lamps and
offers much more light output as well.
